It's time for Mini-fest! This Friday (8/28) @ 6:30 pm - Cedar Hills Heritage Park, 4450 W Cedar Hills Drive. Bring blankets or chairs for seating. Snacks and picnics are welcome. Dancing begins at 6:30 pm sharp.

This summer I have not been very good about posting. Two darling nieces and one sweet nephew all turned one in June and August. Aren't they the absolute best?!? Love you little "1"s !!!

On Saturday at noon , DGDC will perform at the brand spankin' new Orem Swap Meet. Orem Swap Meet When: Saturdays and Sundays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Where: 1304 W. 1170 - North in Orem, just off the 800 North Interstate 15 interchange, just west of the freeway. Follow the signs. On Saturday we hiked Donut Falls in Little Cottonwood Canyon--starting at the Spruces campground. My compliments to Adam and Renee's camera for capturing the colors so well--and to the lady who offered to snap us all together. It was a beautiful hike that I would recommend to anyone. Be aware though that there are streams and waterfalls; they tend to draw the kids. We saw deer and chipmunks and snakes and wildflowers and other hikers and castles (big rocks that RD stood on). Here we are at the end of the trail. My particularly saucy do is compliments to the niece I'd had on my shoulders part of the way. Thanks, EL!

What sweet friends! I came back from a meeting today to the most beautiful surprise on my desk - a bouquet of bright orange gerbera daisies. They are the envy of the office. Thanks Andrea , Karyn , and Melinda for your thoughtfulness. And how yummy and silly Red Mango was with you three last night! You are the BEST!
