Oh - To Be 17 Again

Saw "New Moon" this weekend with some girl friends. Much better than "Twilight". Love the book-Edward and not so much the movie-Edward. Definitely like the movie-Jacob. Wow!

Go Team Edward!

Thanks for sharing the laugh, Sheena. I'd link to her blog so you could see the comic there, but she is private. It took me a second, but then I had to laugh out loud. Where in the world do they come up with these things?!?!

More Twilight

I borrowed this cartoon from my friend Sheena's blog and wanted to share the laugh. Since her blog is private, I won't link back to her. Thanks, Sheena.

After Twilight

Mom and I went to see Twilight this afternoon. I'm still a little queasy from all the quick camera movements and sitting so near the screen. Overall, I liked the flick. I don't know if it would have made as good of an impression if I didn't already know the storyline. Half of my enjoyment came from the expectation of what was coming next. Part came from the "crowd" participation. It was almost like being a part of a melodrama with the cheers and boos and screams from the audience. I'm not totally sold on Edward or Bella. I pictured both characters very differently from the movie depiction. That said, I'm already planning to see it again. Not so close this time, please. Any takers?

Anticipating Twilight

So I may be just slightly obsessed.... The movie comes out THIS FRIDAY. Here are some trailers in case you haven't seen them yet (or you want to see them again). Props to Angie (my friend from work) for teaching me some of her mad media editing skillz.

After Twilight

The husband of one of my friends posted a review of Twilight on their blog, from a male perspective. Thoroughly entertaining, but maybe it's just late. If you have read the book--whether you are a fan or not--you can read Jim's comments here . Any other male perspectives out there?
